Behold The Beholder. A mash-up of SWSCA techniques.

edited July 2016 in Puppet Contest

My names Aaron, and this is The Beholder! A puppet that I made for a Live D&D Fringe show. I used BJ Guyers ( Puppet pattern / muffin plate) with Ted Haines Foam Fab (T-Rex / Monster suite Fab).
The eye moves left to right with a blink.
As well with a wood mouth plate on a stick. All the rigs work on a cable system much like the silicone cable puppet project with David Monzingo. Thanks for looking everyone!!! Its amazing to see all the great puppets and the people building them.

BJ Guyers puppet head pattern before the muffin/stick mouth. (thats the scientific name:)

  • I like how you mashed together different courses or techniques. And that monster or creature character reminds me of two movies from the early 1980s. One is TERRORVISION (1986), and the other is BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA (1986). Two great movies from a great time period in Cinema!
