Puppet Contest
Entering Dave the minion from despicable me into the contest. He is a puppet I made for my Gru costume. He is made with EVA foam which I molded with a heat gun. The jump suite is the biggest sewing project to date. I usually first search second hand stores for costume cloths. But couldn't find anything that fits a Tic Tac figure. I sanded all the seams smooth with sand paper. Filled small holes in foam, and gaps in seams with E6000. Then applied five coats of plastic dip to get a smooth surface. He is painted with spray paint, and his face is hand painted with acrylics.
