Does Current Discount Apply to Subscriptions?

Hi, I saw there is a discount for today only. 40% off of "DVDs and Streams" does this include the streaming subscriptions? I went to order a subscription and there is a box for the discount, but not a button to apply it. All I see is a way to put in my card info and submit the order. I don't want to do that though, before knowing I would be getting the discount. I sent an email but thought I'd ask here on the forum to see if anyone took advantage of the discount for the subscription service.
