Life on Mars: The VFX of The Martian

While their focus is on VFX, you can also se a good amount of practical effects, sets, and space suits.
One aspect I really like is that they used practical suits and helmets, but added CG visors in post. This means you don't have reflections of the lights and crew (something I often watch for and see frequently in movies with reflective surfaces) and the actors get to stay a bit cooler and breathe easier.
