The sides of the head (temples) seem too flat and squared off. I also think the nose area is too long and the chin is a bit weak (See diagram). I think with these changes, it will only be a matter of softening some of the wrinkles, particularly the forehead, to get a pretty realistic head! Good job!
I tried to fix everything you pointed out and also pushed the ears back farther on the head. I noticed they were much too far forward and shortening his cheeks quite a bit.
