Program for drawing and making sketches

Hey people...I am looking for some program for drawing and making sketches. If anybody has any experiences with some program or suggestions, they are most welcome. Please write :).

    Depending on the type of drawing you want to do, I would suggest either Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.  Photoshop is geared for photo manipulation, and digital painting.   Illustrator is vector based, so it's great for line drawing.

    On the iPad I use an app called procreate, which is a lot like photoshop.

    I agree with Chris about Photoshop/Illustrator, and add that having a pressure-sensitive input device, like a stylus and tablet, will probably make your Photoshop experience more enjoyable for drawing.
