Blop
I wanted to make some kind of one-eyed swamp/bog herbivorous creature. i also wanted to give myself a little challenge by starting off with a large egg shape as the base of the form.
Blop was created using a balloon covered in papier mache, and water based clay, plastic half sphere glued on for the eye base. My first real foray into sculpting anything larger than my fist. Still a work in progress, so I haven't quite settled on his final pupil shape yet (just dry erase markered in for the time being).
