Humanoid Creature Bust - Entry 1
This original piece is sculpted in polymer clay over a wire, foil and apoxie core. It's not finished, but I wanted to share it anyway. 
I usually begin my creatures without a complete concept -- I just gather some foil, wire and various clays and start sculpting. I let the piece guide me and tell me its story. It's a challenging process, but very rewarding. Most of my creatures are from another time.. .beings or protectors that are born from the earth and pieced together through its fragments.
