My Halloween costume contest entry Angler Fish Man!!!
Here is my Halloween costume contest entry, Angler Fish Man! He is a horrifying fish-man monster that comes from the depths of a swamp.
I created this costume using a bike helmet, cardboard, foam, paper towels to create his skin texture, regular acrylic paint, plastic pellets for his teeth, Magic Mold Putty to make his antenna, and small lights to make it glow.
This project took me approximately 3–4 weeks to complete. I purchased the suit, hands, and feet, but I customized and added details to make them unique and fit the monster’s design.
With the costume on, I stand approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall, reaching 6 feet 8 inches when including the antenna!
I put a lot of time, creativity, and hard work into bringing Angler Fish Man to life. I hope you enjoy my creation as much as I enjoyed making it!
