Hands disfigured by leprosy - prosthetic pieces

Hi!

I'm working on a short movie with low budget, and I have to build this character of a man with leprosy complication in an advanced stadium of the disease. The character is a man from 1300 and the actor is a bit delicate and has no patience.
The director gave me these references:

I've never done anything like this before and since it's a low budget movie I was trying to find the simplest way to do this.
I thought of taking his hands casts (with some of the finger bend so it's more easy to reach that "fell off effect" and then work with the single fingers, but it would mean that I have to cast all his fingers alone... I'mm not sure how to move without making things more complicated.
Could you give me some advice? I was also thinking to use artex directly for the fallen fingers, but for the hammer toes I think a silicone prosthetic is a must...
