Venturing off into the wild... what do I need?

In a few months I'll be setting off for a gap year program in a relatively rural location that I think would be the perfect opportunity to practice both beauty and SFX makeup. I'm making a master list of things to put together, but since I'm no pro, I would love to hear from the community about any recommended tools, materials, or just personal kit faves. For reference, I have a beauty kit and special effects kit.
