Rambo Smurf: First Blood
It was so much fun bringing my Rambo Smurf concept to life!! My crew was doing a Cartoons theme this year, and this was where my mind took me! I hope you enjoy the results!
And I need to give photo credit and a huge shout-out to https://www.threads.com/@jankowski_aaron
for capturing most of these amazing shots on Saturday!

Here are the main construction points!
- I altered and recolored the top of a Hulk muscle suit for the torso and arms.
-Crafted and painted my own muscle suit for the legs.
-Tailored the shorts to a more dramatic length (read "shorter"!)
- Converted a generic "old-bald-man with long
beard" mask I found into the wig and ears as seen.
- The Smurf Tech rifle started as a nerf gun that I added leds, trigger, transparent battery clip, and stylalistic paint scheme! Very proud of how that turned out!

-Added cell-shading details to the shoes
-I did my own face and hand makeup the day of the event.

-The bandoller was a belt that I painted and added the spare "bullets" to, which are actually functional backup batteries! Ready to reload at any time!!
- The canteen was a repainted military surplus canteen that was filled with "Smurf Berries" to share!
Here are some bonus pics that show just how fun he was to play!
Getting a dream proposal from Fred Flintstone...

But had to break his heart as I am already married to Rainbow Bright! Sorry, Fred!

Had to try this Iconic 80's action pose!

And finally, the whole group of wacky Cartoons...you guys are amazing!
