Shattered Alice and the Imagined Rabbit
This year, my husband and I celebrated Halloween (which also happens to be our anniversary) as Shattered Alice🪞and the Imagined Rabbit. 🐇
My costume involved distressing and bloodying the dress/apron, creating faux mirror pieces to be “embedded” in the skin (made by applying mirror-like appliqués to cardboard, cutting out jagged pieces and then gluing on thin strips of black shipping paper to hide the corrugation), and painting/applying silicone prosthetics. Goodness knows I need more practice in achieving seamless prosthetics edges, but I’m getting better. 😁 Thanks, everyone, for sharing your amazing creations (which I’m in awe of) and a huge thanks to SWSCA for holding this annual contest. 🖤
