Zombie puppet costume
I'm a 14 year old artist, and I created this zombie puppet using paper mache, glue soaked cotton, pvc piping, and foam clay. For the clothing, I weathered second hand clothes with watered down acrylic paint and a wire brush to look old and tattered. I utilized a bike helmet to mount the puppet on my head, a fitted plastic jaw piece to control the mouth, metal rods to control the arms, and a voice changer/loud speaker implanted in the chest of the puppet to bring it to life. There is a string connecting my jaw to that of the puppet's, so when I open my mouth, the zombie's mouth opens. The zombie's upper body can also be disconnected from the helmet, and simply used as a wire, or rod puppet.
