Morvanyr the Moonlost - Not your average demon.
An original design made of a full face foam latex prosthetic, foam latex ears, and horns made of foam clay. Everything made by myself, including the claws, and dentures made of dental acrylic.
Here's his full story:
Long
ago, Morvanyr was not a demon, but a man consumed by his own regret.
His life was a quiet accumulation of failures—missed opportunities,
broken promises, and chances never taken. He wasn't a man of grand sins,
but the weight of his small mistakes slowly crushed him. His greatest
torment was the overwhelming guilt he felt for not being the person he
wanted to be. The constant self-criticism, the endless replaying of past
mistakes, drowned out every other thought. He wanted to rid himself of
the pain that tormented his every waking moment.
Morvanyr sought
solace in ancient, forbidden magic using the power of the moon. He
called upon its darkest side—the black moon that is never visible,
symbolizing sorrow and deep remorse. The ritual promised that, by
surrendering one’s anguish to the moon, the practitioner could release
their guilt and find peace. Instead, it summoned a demonic presence, an
entity bound to the very shadow of regret. The darkness tore through his
body and soul and reshaped them into what he is now.
Horns grew
like malformed memories. His skin drained of color under the moonlight
and it started wrinkling beneath the pressure of his unraveling soul.
Chains turning his body into a prison for the very self-hatred he had
tried to escape.
He was a demon, a creature forged by his own
turmoil. He had sought release, but instead, he became an embodiment of
eternal regret. His existence was now tied to the very pain he had tried
to purge.
Morvanyr, the Moonlost, specifically targets the
weaker ones—those who deny or repress their own past. He is no ordinary
demon who simply destroys; he hides in people’s shadows and sends
whispers of remorse in nightmares, tormenting those who struggle with
unresolved trauma, those who cannot release their own regret and
self-hatred. He feeds on their suppressed emotions, and his power grows
as their inner remorse deepens.
