Halloween costume proposal Davy Jones
I’m entering the contest with my Davy Jones costume proposal from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Everything is handmade by me (except for the clothes, hat, and sword, which I just transformed). I sculpted the prosthetic with Monster Clay Medium, made the mold, and then created the facial tentacles with air-dry clay. For the rest, I used an old sheet and turned it into tentacles that could change shape! I hand-sewed them, painted and glued on the suckers, made the crab hand and painted it as well, along with the finger tentacle. I also added small marine details to the outfit. I customized the boots with these details and added latex to give it a more ghostly look. I also lengthened the coat and burned it slightly to create that old, worn-out look, even though it can’t really be seen in the photos.
