Halloween Costume Contest
My foam latex Vampire brow and cheeks.
I used plaster bandage and ultra cal to make my face cast.
I Sculpted the brow and cheeks using monster clay.
I then made the mold using Hydrocal.
I built an oven using plywood and the insulation board with foil. I use a hot plate and a small fan for circulation. Figured out how to keep the temp just around 185 for 4 hours.
Bought a cheap mixer at Kohls and a gallon monster makers foam latex kit.
Bought a few cheap mold straps from amazon.
Took me a couple times to get the mix right.
I purchased the fangs from dental distortions.
I sealed the foam with a mix of pros aide and createx bone white.
I used an air brush to paint the crevices with createx vascular violet.
Around my eyes I used a Mehron makeup wheel.
Keeping with deep purple and red.
Same around the mouth.
I then lightly airbrushed pro air dead flesh over everything. Looking at it I wish I had done some speckling. That will be for a next time.
Contact are half sclera. An ice blue.
I purchased a small smoke machine for my character at the haunt so I figured I would try it out with these pics. I think it works really well🤗.
