Silicone Mask Making Part 1 Question

About two minutes into chapter four Andrew mentions you can glue down silicone masks with a variety of materials. My question is in two parts. Can you use this technique repetitively for something like haunts? How do you clean and remove the layers of glue to freshen up the mask for the next time around?
