New silicone mask painting

Hello everyone! I have successfully made my first silicone half mask mold and I'm looking for some guidance to bring it home. first question is how do you bleed out air with a half mask core? i know on larger molds they add bleeder holes to the mold but how is it done with a half mask? also i am using pyscho paint with matte novocs air brushed onto dragon skin but it has a gloss to it that while good in some areas i don't want it everywhere. how do i pull that back to be more matte? i have attached photos so any advice is welcome!

  • Bleeder holes in a half mask work the same as a full mask.  Place them where air might be trapped and seal them up after the air is expelled.

You should be able to add a matting agent to your paint to address the gloss.
