Would love some feedback/advice! Sculptor just getting into sfx sculpting

Working on wounds- just started practicing and discovering them a week ago. Would love your feedback on this - I’m not finished/super aware the edges aren’t properly blended which is important. I’ve also attached the grumpysculptor reference I’m working from. Thanks so so much

    Looks like you are off to a good start.  One thing you may want to look into is a smoother board for sculpting on, since wood grain texture can impact your blending edges.

    You can also use a chip brush that has been trimmed down a bit (creating stiffer bristles) to brush off your sculpt to remove the small chunks of clay and help smooth things before adding finer detail.  Depending on the clay you are working with, you can use things like isopropyl alcohol or baby powder with the brush to help smooth/clean up the surface as well.
