Question about Bald caps

Hey guys, I have a question about handmade bald caps. After watching the lessons I have made 2 of them, using Super Baldiez. First one went out not bad, there was few little holes and it was pretty flexible but it looked more or less natural. Second one I have made by the same proportions, but it looked much more worse after applying. It had a lot of holes that I needed to cover and after some time it stretched a lot and looked like a 'hat'. I'm curious about why that happened. Maybe because the hair of the model was a bit longer or because I used different hair gel, or it's because It was warmer outside and model sweated more. I have some thoughts about it but maybe someone knows for sure? I would be glad to see your opinion ✨
P.S. girl with a tattoo and piercing is first appliance, Feyd-Rautha is second)

  • If the bald cap is not pulled back tight and securely attached to the back of the neck, it can slide forward and produce the effect seen in your first images.     Having the hair well slicked back and flattened using gafquat is ideal, and then the cap should be as tight as possible to hold everything down and keep a smooth surface.   If you are getting holes, it's possible the cap plastic was not thick enough.
