Evil Mummy Queen
This past Halloween costume, which I call "Evil Mummy Queen," was by far the most difficult costume I had made to date. It took an entire month to create this look — from dying and destressing/aging the fabrics, to hot gluing the fabric strips onto the bodysuit beneath, to shaping and accessorizing the crown, to applying layer after layer of liquid latex and cotton to form the handmade face prosthetic. In the end, all of the work was worth it. And, this was a wonderful learning opportunity to build upon my SFX skills.
