Casey Love alien based sculpt

Here is a little bust that I made after watching the Casey Love Creature Design video stream. I followed his general shapes, but I wanted to make it my own. So I researched old skin photographs in google and applied different textures on different sections of my sculpt.

looks great! It reminds me of the aliens from Fire in the Sky, which were imho the creepiest 'gray' concept I've seen. I'm going to be tackling this same sculpt soon, I hope mine comes out half as well.

Chris, thanks for the compliment!  I'm finding that making wrinkles in Sculpey is way more challenging than in WED clay. But no matter, we gotta tough it out.  An art director may require us to use Sculpey, so its best to get used to this stuff early on.

I'm planning to use all the different types of commonly used clays, and even wax. Just so that I can be versatile. So that I know whats the best medium for which subject.
