Jungle Rock Golem 2024 - Costume Contest
This is my newest creation! A 9.5 foot tall rock golem costume. It is all hand sculpted &
fabricated from L200 foam and Loctite expanding foam. The interior has a harness with full power to run a camera and screen, fans & blowers, lights, stereo sound with custom sound fx, as well as a vfx creates sound box for live walking sounds. It has removable "protection stones" in the back, and glowing eyes and moving head and mouth. (The fern leaves are the only purchased part that wasn't made by hand.)
The whole costume weights 70 lbs. But is distributed through the custom metal harness.
