'Peewee' the Cursed Parrot
This is Peewee, my cursed parrot puppet!
Inspired by Pirates of The Caribbean,greedy Peewee stole an Aztec coin and has been afflicted with a skeleton curse! Peewee is the first puppet I've built. I took a scan of a macaw skeleton into Zbrush and separated all the bones I wanted to move before 3D printing them in resin. His skin is latex and cotton, and his feathers are a mix of goose, and real macaw (ethically sourced).
The octopus is also made by me! Sculpted, moulded and cast, painted. His name is Legs and he is Peewee's best friend and frequent mobility aid. Legs isn't my entry for this competition, but I cannot separate the two!
