WWI Trench Ghoul - “Jerry”

this is a WWI Trench Ghoul, specifically a German soldier, or a “Jerry” as they were nicknamed. Judging by the helmet-a “pickelhaube”, he was killed in the first half of the war, as the German military switched over to using to the Stahlhelm helmet by 1916. He is a resin magnet kit that I originally sculpted out of chavant clay, then made a silicone waste mold of him. Once the silicone dried, I then made a copy out of wax-the “lost wax casting” method-and then sculpted and refined the piece using an electric wax carver. Once the piece was completed to my satisfaction, I made a final silicone mold, cast him in plastic resin, and painted him in acrylic paints.
