WWI Trench Ghoul - “Tommy”
This is a WWI trench ghoul, specifically a British soldier, or a “Tommy” as they were nicknamed. He is a resin magnet kit that I originally sculpted out of chavant clay, then made a silicone waste mold of him. Once the silicone dried, I then made a copy out of wax-the “lost wax casting” method-and then sculpted and refined the piece using an electric wax carver. Once the piece was completed to my satisfaction, I made a final silicone mold, cast him in plastic resin, and painted him in acrylic paint.
