Here's my version of a Dryad or Nature Nymph turning herself back into a tree form. I thought this transformation would probably be painful, hence the horror expression.

I modeled the Dryad sculpture with pottery clay and made a latex mask. It was filled with soft foam and painted. I then added some hair and leaves around her head.
