Naptha Alternative

I'm going to be taking the silicone painting course so if they discuss this in there I apologize in advance, but is there an alternative to Naptha that may be better than others? I see Paint thinner and mineral spirits listed as alternatives, just curious if one may be better than the other for silicone painting/airbrushing?

    One alternative that I've seen mentioned, but have no personal experience with, is called NOVOCS from Smooth On.   It's mainly used by folks looking to avoid volatile organic compounds.  I can't say if it's better/worse than the typical mineral spirits or naphtha, but it may work for you!
