Foam Latex

Hi everybody, I'm working on an animatronic puppet. Haven't molded it yet, still in the sculpting phase, but I'm just trying to plan ahead of time. 
At the moment I don't have an oven for foam latex yet. Are there any alternatives I could use? I thought about silicone but I was worried it would be too heavy for the mechanics

One option might be a silicone foam like Soma Foama https://www.smooth-on.com/product-line/soma-foama/  It would still be a bit heavier than foam latex but can work great on animatronics.  Just depends on how thick the skin is and what type of mechanisms drive the animatronic.
