Satire - Masked Creature
The second creature of my duo!
Inspired by gargoyles, green-mans and other strange faces all over old French architecture, this masked duo represents two types of poetry. Satire, a mischievous free-thinker, makes sure the dead are remembered for what they really are.
Same process as Elegy! I used Monster Clay for the original sculpture
Then I casted it in polyurethane resin and painted it with acrylics using an airbrush and regular brushes.
The eyes were painted and casted separately using polyurethane and clear epoxy resin.
