Paganini - Articulated Violin Playing Marionette Puppet 40" tall

This Paganini marionette was sculpted in clay, molded in silicone, then cast in resin to create a hollow head to ensure proper weight and room for the facial animation of blinking eyes and cocking eyebrow to create attitude, which Niccolo at times exhibited. LOL!!  The stylized hands have some moving fingers to create the illusion of playing the violin during performance.  His face sculpt was inspired by sculptures, illustrations, and caricatures found online, since no photographs of Paganini exist. He lived from 1782 to 1840 and his violin technique was so diabolically advanced that he is arguably the world's first music super star!
