"KANALOA" [god of the underworld]
"KANALOA"
Kanaloa is a ancient Hawaiian god who was symbolised by SQUID or OCTOPUS and is associated with Kane .
Kanaloa is considered the god of the underworld and a teacher of magic .
Kanaloa is also traditionally depicted as an ocean god, hence his association with seamanship .However, there are also interpretations that see Kanaloa as subordinate to Kāne.
I started working on this project few months back, when I got to know about the god I designed the creature and this is what I came up with as you can see I made a tentacles skirt for the lower body and a pearl corset for the upper body .
topping all of this with black slimy tar on the shoot day for the underworld effect .
