I just had 2 questions about PAX paint. 1: Do you need to use liquitex paint? And 2: if you're painting a foam latex mask, do you need to powder between each coat/color?
You do not need to use Liquitex, but make sure you are using high-quality acrylic paint with lots of pigment. Liquitex is generally recommended as it has an established track record.
You do not need to powder between coats. You'll only want to powder your final top layer so it is not tacky.
