Ghastly Ghoul
This monster portrait is mostly composed of clay with leftover plastic vampire teeth found in my son's trick or treat bag last Halloween. Its eyes are red aquarium glass stones with black and yellow puffy paint. Saliva and mucus were made with hot glue. A broken hanging mirror was spray-painted gold and re-used as a frame. Paint globules were glued on as blood spatter. I created a tongue out of wire and clay to hold its shape. I used blue, dark gray, and red acrylic paint for the face and background. It is 10 inches in diameter and the face protrudes 6 inches from the base of the frame.
