Man with the Yellow Hat and Curious George
The costume for the Man with the Yellow Hat started out from thrifting white clothes and spray painting them yellow in order to keep the color consistent. The hat was made from wire and wrapped in cheesecloth covered with paper-mache. The mask was also made from cheesecloth and fabric with paper-mache added on top. The nose was made from aluminum foil. Curious George began as a wire skeleton with spray foam being carved away to create the monkey form. The head was made from aluminum foil. Fabric and paper-mache cover the majority of the body.
