Wandering Monster
Here is my Wandering Monster. I heard about this contest Sunday night, and I started him 4 days ago. The concept is a mismatch of crustaceans, insects, & arthropods, with mammal fur. I just love the juxtaposition, and fur is fun and challenging.
His hard parts are Super Sculpey, with some Apoxie Sculpt, over a wire armature. Nails are thermoplastic. The body is wrapped fabric covered in faux fur. The clothes are fabric and jewelry scraps I has in my studio. The base is a piece of ash tree I cut down a few years ago. The staff was generously provided by my backyard. Thanks!
