first foam latex question

Hey everybody, I made my first foam latex face mask today. Turned out ok. I used a heat gun through a small hole in a wooden box lined with foil. The mask does not completely spring back when pressed; it kinda does a little, but still leaves a small indent. And it's not as light and soft as it should be. Do you think this might be from not baking it long enough? I left it for about 2 hours and ten minutes. The mold is ultracal, and it's a full-face prosthetic mask.

Needs to bake longer.  Slow return means it isn't completely vulcanized

Probably too late for you but if you want to save it you might want to try boiling it for a few minutes
