Sculpted a tree wizard and realized my mannequin head was too small

So, I’d hate to strip this…. But, my mannequin head I realized is too small. Figuring I’m going to have to destroy it and redo on the right size, before I do, has anyone had this happen and know of a way to maybe salvage it? Or is it a goner
