🪳 “Did Someone Call For An Exterminator?” 🪳
Hello! My name is Nicholas Spindler and my Drag name is Claire Voyant. I am originally from Chicago, Illinois, but I recently moved to Los Angeles, California. I have been a professional drag performer for eight years and I am transitioning into special effects makeup for film and television. When I lived in Chicago, I hosted a bi-monthly horror themed drag show called “Slay.” Every other month, “Slay” focused on a type of horror, one of my favorites being “Creepy Crawlers.” This look was inspired by “Edgar The Bug” from “Men In Black,” which was one of my first experiences with horror in the movies. I was obsessed with the idea of creating a human/bug hybrid who worked as an exterminator. During the performance, I created a fake “Raid” spray bottle and sprayed the audience as if they were pests and I was pest control! The prosthetic is from “Mostly Dead,” however the antenna headpiece, jaw appliance, and exterminator jumpsuit were created by myself…0
