Urgent foam latex oven help

Hi all. I've just built a foam lates oven out of a plywood box lined with polyurethane foam backed with foil.  I've used a 1000w hotplate as the heating element. I've installed a foil duct on top to bring the heat up and push it back down again with a fan. I've managed to get it to 70°c max temp. If I'm honest, I'm really paranoid about it catching fire or going wrong somehow. Can foam latex be baked at a lower temp say 50°c for a longer time? If so what temp and how long for? 
It's a full face prosthetic I'll be making. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated
