Stop-Motion Creature Puppet
Here’s my submission for the Monster Making Contest 2023!
His name is Adam. He has an aluminum and copper skeleton and 44 points of articulation. Adam is made of foam, latex, moldable plastic, and leather and paint detailing. The mandibles are magnet controlled and the head was sculpted and then cast. The feet have hex nuts imbedded in them to secure him to animation stations. His design draws from kaiju mixed with the 50s American monster movies; drawing from both my Japanese and American culture. He is the lead puppet of my senior animation capstone short-film. I hope you all love him as much as I do!
