Baby Therizinosaurus hand puppet

This is Zena. She was made entirely out of fabric, poster board and cosplay foam clay, plus glass cabochons for the eyes. She was at first done as an art doll, but after a while I decided to try and make a puppet with the same dinosaur, and coloration. She is a very light puppet, since most of her weight only comes from the faux fur fabric used for her body. 

 It surpingly only took a few weeks to make, and I was so excited to make this cute little Dino come to life. Most of the movements you see her make in the videos are inspired by the movement of real birds, and I think it  adds even more realism to this puppet. I’m already starting to make another one, and I just can’t express how much fun it is to make these dinosaur puppets!
