The Black Dog (Creature Making Contest, 2023)
This puppet was originally inspired by the Graphic Novel, The Black Dog: The Dreams of Paul Nash by Dave McKean, however also draws on a lot of inspiration from mythology, from stories such as the Grim and Black Dog folklore from around England and Europe.
The puppet is made from Rhenoflex and fabric, with a wire frame. The eyes are cast from resin and contain red LED's so that they can be lit up.
