Cleaning latex residue out of ultracal to run silicone

Is it possible to clean latex remnants out of an ultracal mold to run silicone or once it's tainted always tainted??

I believe it's possible to use a heavy release as a barrier to prevent contamination from inhibiting platinum silicone curing.  It's not something I've tried personally.   But contamination is still a risk.
