Elephant Woman
This makeup was inspired by Lynch’s ‘The Elephant Man’, except I thought that it would be fun to create the makeup for a female. I sculpted the makeup in chavant clay and broke it down into 3 overlapping appliances. After moulding, I cast the pieces in encapsulated silicone and created an additional foam inner for the head appliance due to the weight of the piece. 1
