My inspiration for this makeup was Koo Koo the Bird Girl from Tod Browning’s ‘Freaks’. I sculpted the makeup in chavant clay and broke the sculpt down into 3 pieces which would later become overlapping appliances, After moulding, I cast the pieces in encapsulated silicone.
