Tomahawk stuck in neck

Hey there,

I need to create a piece with a tomahawk stuck in the neck.  It will be where the neck meets the chest/shoulder area.  Normally for pieces with weapons stuck in the body, I would use a stabilizer vest or belt, but for this, since the arms are exposed, it would be hard to hide even a cross-chest belt.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Would appreciate any advice on how to achieve this look.  Thank you.  Hope you're all having a great day.

  • If you have a life cast of the performer, you can make a stabilizing plate via vacuum-form, thermoplastic, resin & fiberglass, etc., and then hold that in place with medical adhesive.   From there, you could cover it with an appliance for blending.  Then the tomahawk could connect to the plate via pins or magnets so it could be easy to remove between takes for safety.
