European alternative for contact cement?

Hi there! I'm following the hand & rod puppet course where BJ uses contact cement from either Barger or Duall. Both aren't available in Europe (at least not in the Netherlands region) and I was wondering if anyone knows a good alternative that is available here, with the same characteristics as the original ones (sticks well, becomes workable again with heat etc). 
Hope someone can help - I'll be extremely thankful as I'll be able to continue on the course :)

    While I don't know any specific alternatives, one step you can take is find a local cobbler (shoe repair shop) and ask them what contact adhesive they source locally. You can mention Barge/Duall to them as what you are after, and see if they have a recommendation for an alternative.
