A Spider-verse Halloween
Hello all,
For this year's Halloween we went with a Spider-man / Spider-verse theme for our costumes. For my son, I made a silicone body suit and matching silicone glove. He also got a custom fit symbiote mask with translucent teeth, tongue, etc. I also made a mask for myself of my own design that I am calling Man-Spider, as an alternate take on the iconic Spider-Man. I referenced a bunch of the Stan Winston school tutorials including John Cherevka's - making epoxy eyes, All of the Immortal mask folks molding and casting silicone tutorials, Tim Gore and Jamie Groves silicone painting videos, Alec Gillis's monster suit tutorials, and more! The Stan Winston school tutorials have been a constant source of incredible information and inspiration. Here are some pics of my final product, as well as some in process shots. Hope y'all like.
